Judge denies motion to dismiss in In re: Neurografix (360) Patent Litigation

March 24, 2014- In In re: Neurografix (360) Patent Litigation (1-13-md-02432 (D. Ma)), District Judge Richard G. Stearns denied defendants’ renewed motions to dismiss plaintiffs’ infringement actions for lack of standing. Plaintiffs NeuroGrafix, Neurography Institute Medical Associates, Inc. (NIMA), and Image-Based Surgicenter Corporation (IBSC) filed nine suits which were consolidated by the Multidistrict Litigation Panel (MDL) against several MRI equipment manufacturers and university and hospital end-users alleging infringement of U.S. Patent 5,560,360 entitled Image Neurography and Diffusion Anisotropy Imaging.
