On January 28, 2015, Spineology, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Wright Medical Technology, Inc. (“Defendant”) asserting infringement of U.S. Patent No. RE42,757 (“the ‘757 Patent”). The ‘757 Patent, which is assigned to the Plaintiff, is drawn to an expandable reamer for forming a space within a vertebral disc. The Plaintiff is asserting that the Defendant’s X-REAM® percutaneous expandable reamer product infringes the claims of the ‘757 Patent. In addition, the Plaintiff asserts that the Defendant’s infringement of the ‘757 Patent is willful. The case remains pending and is captioned 0-15-cv-00180.
