June 8, 2015 – Globus Medical, Inc. argued in front of a Federal Circuit panel that DePuy Synthes’ $16 million patent infringement verdict is erroneous and should be overturned. Globus Medical contended that flawed claim construction resulted in improper jury instructions and infringement rulings. The patents-in-suit are U.S. Patent Numbers 7,846,207, 7,862,616, and 7,875,076, which relate to intervertebral implants. The case is captioned DePuy Synthes Products, Inc. v.
