On December 7, 2015, Julius Zorn, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint for declaratory judgment against Circaid Medical Products, Inc. (“Defendant”) asserting non-infringement and invalidity of U.S. Patent No. 7,329,232 (“the ‘232 Patent”). The ‘232 Patent, which is assigned to the Defendant, is drawn to a limb encircling therapeutic compression device. The Plaintiff is asserting that their Juzo Compression Wrap products do not infringe any claims of the ‘232 Patent. The Plaintiff is further asserting that the ‘232 Patent is invalid and due to various actions of the Defendant, an actual, substantial, and continuing justiciable controversy exists between the Plaintiff and the Defendant. The case remains pending and is captioned 3-15-cv-02734.
