Court Grants Intervenors’ Motion to Modify Protective Order in LecTec Corp. v. Chattem Inc.

December 16, 2015 – The court granted intervenors’ motion to modify an existing protective order which would allow sealed documents from the instant case to be produced in a related MDL antitrust case. The patents at issue are U.S Patent No. 5,536,263, entitled “Non-occulusive adhesive patch for applying medication to the skin,” and U.S. Patent No. 5,741,510, entitled “Adhesive patch for applying analgesic medication to the skin.”

The case is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (Texarkana) and is captioned: LecTec Corporation v. Chattem Inc et al, 5-08-cv-00130 (TXED Texarkana).
