District Court Denies SchureMed’s Motion for Summary Judgment

May 10, 2016 – The United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts denied Defendant SchureMed’s motion for summary judgment without prejudice.  The Court ruled that the most efficient way of addressing the motion was to first go through claim construction proceedings. The patent at issue is U.S. Patent No. 6,622,980, entitled “Socket and rail clamp apparatus.”

The case is pending in the District of Massachusetts and is captioned: Allen Medical Systems, Inc. v. Schuerch Corporation d/b/a SchureMed, MAD-1-15-cv-13024.
