Neo-Flow, Inc. v. Mydent International Corp.

On July 15, 2016, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia issued a consent dismissal and order of permanent injunction in the pending case.  The case involves a suit brought by Neo-Flo, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) against Mydent International Corp. (“Defendant”) for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,425,664 (“the ‘664 Patent”).  The ‘664 Patent is drawn to a dental absorbent pad.  In the decision, the Court dismissed all claims and permanently enjoined Defendant from using, offering for sale, making, selling, or manufacturing its DEFEND cotton roll substitutes that would infringe the claims of the ‘664 Patent.  The Court dismissed the claims and issued the permanent injunction in view of a Settlement Agreement entered into and between the Plaintiff and the Defendant.  This case remains pending and is captioned 1:15-cv-03496.
