August 18, 2016 – Fisher & Paykel Healthcare sued ResMed Corp. for patent infringement, alleging ResMed’s Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines, such as its AirSense 10 Series, infringe multiple patents in Fisher & Paykel’s patent portfolio related to CPAP machines. The cases are captioned Fisher & Paykel Healthcare Ltd. v. ResMed Corp., and are pending in the Southern District of California, 16-cv-02068 and 16-cv-02072.
