Court Denies Motion to Stay

November 10, 2016 – The District of Massachusetts denied Defendant Zoll Medical’s motion to postpone a bifurcated damages trial due to a pending reexamination because the undue prejudice to Plaintiff Philips, lack of potential simplification of issues, and stage of the case weighed against a stay.

The case is captioned Koninklijke Philips N.V., et al. v. Zoll Medical Corp., in the District of Massachusetts, 10-cv-11041-NMG.  The patents-at-issue relate to defibrillator devices.
