Supreme Court Declines to Hear Boston Scientific Appeal

February 22, 2017 – The United States Supreme Court denied a writ of certiorari seeking appeal of a Maryland state court jury verdict ordering Boston Scientific Corporation to pay $308 million Mirowski Family Ventures in a breach of contract case over the companies’ licensing deal for Mirowski’s implantable cardioverter defibrillator patents, U.S. Patent Numbers 4,316,472 ; 4,407,288; RE38119; and RE39897.

The case is captioned Boston Scientific Corp. et al. v. Mirowski Family Ventures LLC, case number 16-470, before the U.S. Supreme Court.
