On March 9, 2017, the United States District Court for the Central District of California entered an Order restricting Comfortland Medical Inc.’s (“Comfortland”) sales of its current version of accused products. The Order came as a result of the parties’ stipulation regarding the pending preliminary injunction motion filed by Plaintiffs, Aspen Medical Products and W.G. Holdings, LLC (collectively, “Aspen”). Aspen is accusing Comfortland of infringing its body bracing patents.
The patents-at-issue are U.S. Patent Nos. 8,142,377, 8,956,315, and 9,393,149, each entitled, “Double Pull Body Brace.” The case is captioned Aspen Medical Products, Inc. v. Comfortland Medical, Inc., 8-16-cv-02001.
