May 10, 2017 – The United States District Court for the Northern District of California taxed costs against Plaintiff AngioScore, Inc. in the amount of $194,323.91. Judgment had been entered in favor of Defendants Eitan Konstantino, TriReme Medical, LLC, Quattro Vascular Pte Ltd., and QT Vascular Ltd. on February 3, 2017 after a mandate of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which found the claims-at-issue invalid and not infringed by the accused Chocolate PTA Balloon Catheter products. The patent-at-issue is U.S. Patent No. 7,691,119, titled “Balloon catheter with non-deployable stent.” The case is in number 4:12-CV-3393.
