On January 16, 2019, Magnolia Medical Technologies, Inc. (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Kurin, Inc. (“Defendant”) for infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 9,855,001 (“the ‘001 Patent”) and 10,028,689 (“the ‘689 Patent”). The ‘001 and ‘689 Patents are owned by the Plaintiff and are drawn to systems and methods for parenterally procuring bodily-fluid samples with reduced contamination. The case remains pending and is captioned 1:19-cv-00097 (D. Del.).
